The Iconic 30 Does your Corvette have what it takes to be an ICON for the year it was made? NCH is partnering with the Corvette Assembly Plant to select a Corvette of each year 1981 through 2011 to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the NCH and the Assembly Plant in Bowling Green. This contest will choose an Icon for each year based on the following criteria: 1. Your car may be original or customized. 2. What awards does car have (such as Sans Pareil, Bloomington Gold, NCRS and others). 3. Your earliest entrant will have first consideration. We will choose an Icon and alternative. 4. Entry fee is $150 per car. When you are notified you are the Icon car, entry fee is due. Contestants should send an email to joepruitt@corvettehomecoming.com with pictures of their car, the year, the model and interesting details about it’s history now. Pictures are not returnable. All entries will be judged by members of both NCH and the Corvette Plant Judges. Each Icon car selected will be included in a special pictorial on this site. Your car will have a special display at the show. This will designate each Corvette as Icon car for their year of production. Other prizes include: 1. Admission for two the entire weekend. 2. Two tickets to the Touch of Class Party. 3. A special custom commemorative award. 4. A golf shirt with 30th logo and year of your Corvette, identifying you and your Corvette as the Icon for that year. These are not available to the public, you have to earn them. 5. A car cover from our sponsor, Corvette America valued at $80. 6. A $50 gift certificate from our sponsor, Corvette America.
